1. Seaver’s Imperfect Game Marker

Inscription. Tom Seaver took a perfect game into the ninth inning against the first-place Cubs. He retired 25 straight batters before allowing a one-out single to Jimmy Qualls. The Mets won 4–0 to cut Chicago’s lead to three and a half games. The “Imperfect Game” was a defining moment during the “Miracle Mets” championship season.

Net proceeds of Citi Field Fanwalk bricks have been donated to the Mets Foundation, which supports area charities and causes.
