Muddy Toes
Muddy Toes is a private residence. It has the island's sole FAA approved heliport in the backyard, designated 3VG6. The Muddy Toes library across the street, a gift to the island, isa free loaning-lending library for all residents and visitors to Tangier.
The name Muddy Toes refers to a remark attributed to Captain Eulice by Ann Jander, in her book, Crab's Hole. Capt. Eulice is claimed to have said that if a person got the "mud of Tangier between his toes, that he would always return to the island".
