This tablet and the clock in the tower are presented in 1918 by Gilbert Asa Davis. In memory of his father and mother, Asa and Mary [Hosmer] Davis. Who on confession of faith were received into the Cong'l Church in Chester, Vermont, on Feb. 1, 1833, and continued devoted members until their respective deaths.
Mary Davis died Mar. 22, 1872, aged 78 yrs. 2 days.
Also, in memory of his sister Martha Tileston [Davis] Miller Who of confession of faith was received into this church on November 3, 1833 and continued a devoted member until her death Mar. 26, 1894 aged 77 yrs. 10 4mos. 6 days.
