Will of a Warrior, 2024
| | Welded Steel | |
Will of a Warrior is a powerful series of welded dandelion sculptures. This collection includes one freestanding sculpture and three custom gate panels, all designed specifically for the exterior of the OT Hall and Acline Studios, unveiled upon their opening in 2024. These pieces serve not only as decorative elements but also as lasting symbols of strength, resilience, and transformationcore values both of the artist and the space they now adorn.
Tim McElveen has been an employee of Moore Farms Botanical Garden since 2012, where he focuses on carpentry, welding, and art handling. Over time, these hands-on skills evolved into a creative practice, leading McElveen to explore metal sculpture as a form of artistic expression. His one-of-a kind pieces can now be found throughout Moore Farms and in Downtown Lake City.
This artwork was commissioned in partnership between Moore Farms Botanical Garden and the Greater Lake City Alliance.
