While a student at Baldwin - Wallace, Lloyd L. Hoffman was active in Lambda Chi Alpha and the Campus Media. He carried that enthusiasm as an active member of the Berea Community, a representative to the Baldwin-Wallace board from the United Methodist Church from 1956 - 1976, he chaired the Buildings and Grounds Committee and was Assistant Secretary of the Board, he also provided leadership for Ritter Library Fund Drives and was a Bach Festival Benefactor. Together, with his wife, Mildred, he established an endowed scholarship for students. Lloyd Hoffman is remembered for his dedication and commitment to Baldwin-Wallace and Berea.
