Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees 1942 - 1943

Recognized nationally as an educator and Methodist Layman, Dr. Markham was known at Baldwin Wallace as a loyal alumnus who often visited campus and served on the Board of Trustees for nineteen years, the college honored him with a Master of Arts Degree in 1889 and with a Doctor of Literature Degree in 1909.
