Robert Pitcher was an exceptional teacher, scholar and faculty leader. He was known for his ability to inspire underachieving college students to reach their academic potential. His research in this area led him to author two books and establish the educational development center, a precursor to the B-W Learning Center. His commitment and concern live on in the lives of his students.
