A dedicated and revered professor for 27 years, W. Alwyn Ashburn provided his English classes a depth of scholarly experiences beyond their expectations. His love of learning and quest for knowledge live on in the books he secured for the library. He championed B-W's overseas program and encouraged students to develop interests beyond their realm. He will be remembered as a true renaissance man who believed in lifelong learning for his students and himself.
