A North Carolina State alum, Carlos Rodon led the Wolfpack to their first college World Series appearance since 1968 in the 2013 season. Rodon left NCSU with the school record in career strikeouts (436) and freshman strikeouts (135). On April 14th, 2021, Rodon etched his game in the record books by throwing the 20th no-hitter in Chicago White Sox franchise history.
