Remember Me Rose Garden
| | A Living Tribute to Flight 93 | |
The garden's centerpiece features a compass rose design, spanning 280 feet with seven points four extending 93 feet, symbolizing United Flight 93, and three at 40 feet, representing each hero aboard. At its heart lies a 40-foot fountain, encircled by 40 stones engraved with the names of the fallen. Surrounding the fountain are hundreds of Julie Andrews rose bushes and thousands of perennials, creating a space of beauty and reflection visible from 30,000 feet above.
