Excerpt: Depuis 1982, le Centre de céramique Bonsecours occupe un édifice, propriété de la Ville de Montréal, l’ancienne Caserne Saint-Gabriel, la plus ancienne caserne de pompiers de la Ville construite au 19e siècle. Obtenu par bail emphytéotique, cet édifice fut complètement rénové grâce à l’aide du ministère de la Culture, la Caserne Saint-Gabriel étant classée pour sa magnifique façade.(Submitted on May 27, 2026, by Cosmos Mariner of Cape Canaveral, Florida.)[English translation] Since 1982, the Bonsecours Ceramic Center has occupied a building owned by the City of Montreal, the former Saint-Gabriel Fire Station, the oldest fire station in the city built in the 19th century. Acquired through a long-term lease, this building was completely renovated with the help of the Ministry of Culture, the Saint-Gabriel Fire Station being classified for its magnificent facade.
