Dr. Fenner saw life as a challenge to live by reason, thoroughly respected by colleagues and students, endowed with a gentle, high humor. He had an infinite patience and complete insight as a scholar. His disciplined mind brought strength to all whom his life touched. Few teachers have made a more significant contribution to this college.
