Registrar 1947 - 1971

"The most popular man" in the class of 1931, Jess Petty immediately became a BW recruiter and traveled the region talking with prospective students and families. He became the registrar in 1947. The 1966 Alumni Merit Award winner, he continued to connect with alumni in retirement on BW's behalf.
