Ruim dertig jaar was het een vertrouwd gezicht aan de voorzijde van het Olympisch Stadion; het standbeeld van twee voetballers. Het is de weergave van de eerste minuut van de WK-finale van 1974 tussen West-Duitsland en Nederland, toen Johan Cruijff werd neergehaald in het Duitse strafschopgebied. De daaropvolgende penalty van Johan Neeskens zorgde voor de Nederlandse bliksemstart.
Het beeld werd geplaatst in 1978 en werd in 2007 verplaatst naar de huidige positie naast het Johan Cruyff Court.

It was a familiar sight in front of the Olympic Stadium for more than thirty years: the statue of two football players. It represents the first minute of the 1974 World Cup final between West Germany and the Netherlands, when Cruyff was tackled in the German penalty area. The penalty, converted by Johan Neeskens, that followed gave the Dutch team a lightning start.
The statue was created in 1978 and was moved to this new location next to the Johan Cruyff Court in 2007.
