1. Site of Skiddy’s Castle Marker
Inscription. Skiddy’s Castle was built in 1445 by John Skiddy. It was a typical example of a tower house or fortified residence. The castle was demolished to first floor level, in the late 18th century.

The original ground floor is located 2 metres below the plaza level. This plaque is located over the old walls of the castle.
