Inscription. Honoring the memory of local area American Patriots who lived their lives in selfless service to our Nation, our State, or our Community, consistent with the honorable tenets of "Duty, Honor, Country" as described by General Douglas MacArthur, U.S. Army, in his final address to the cadets at West Point in 1962.

May all these great Americans whose names appear on this, The Patriots Pole, be forever remembered for their exemplary service to others.
