Inscription. 2-8-4 Kanawha (or Berkshire) type freight locomotive built by ALCO, THE 2727 weighs 850,000 lbs. is 105' 1 7/8" long, has a roller bearings on all of it's axles and could generate more than 5,000 h.p. Donated in 1957 by the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad.
