1. Jeff Lyal Simpson Marker
Inscription. Jett Simpson, a native of Newport News and a 1981 graduate of Ferguson High School, voluntarily entered the collapsing World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 to help save lives. Simpson perished in the disaster, but the memory of his heroic action is recorded here as an example of great courage, compassion, and sellessness.
