Willard’s Hotel
The original owner of Willard's Hotel, Jacob Myers, built this inn on the Front concession of Dundas County facing the St. Lawrence. This large white frame house dates from the 1790s and served various stage coach lines as a tavern and hotel during the early 1800s. The Willard family continued the tradition in the 1830s and also ran a general store on the main floor. In 1957, it was moved five kilometers east to Upper Canada Village, where it was restored to serve as a dining establishment for visitors.
