Inscription.
A rare conifer thought to be long extinct, was rediscovered in 1945, at Szechuan, China.

Foliage, fern like in spring, turns a pale pink before dropping in the fall.

The tree grows here in honor of the 1300 missing in action of the Vietnam Conflict with hope that they too, shall return.
