1. The Citrus School Bell Marker
Inscription.
Velma Gill, mother of Daylene Gill Stout, was on the Citrus School Board of Directors. When the school closed in 1932 and joined with South Tule, it became Citrus South Tule School. At that time, the school bell was given to Velma. In later years, when Earl Stout married Daylene Gill, the bell was mounted on a post in their yard. The bell was used to call Earl home, because it could be heard quite a long distance over the Half Circle Bar Ranch headquarters.

Donated by Daylene Gill Stout & Steven Stout, 2017.
