The Thunderstreak was an American swept-wing turbojet fighter-bomber. The jet enjoyed a short career; beginning in 1954 and retiring in 1958. These jets once again saw action for a brief span from 1961-1962 during a time of heightened tension in Germany during the construction of the Berlin Wall.
