Hier am Markt 24 befand sich das sog. Hochzeits- und Waagehaus, das erste hallesche Universitätshauptgebäude, in dem auch der Student G.E. Händel immatrikuliert wurde.
Diese Tafel wurde ermöglicht durch Bürgerinitiative Rathausseite und Halloren Schokoladenfabrik, Kathi, Rainer Thiele GmbH, Rossini, G. Reslan, Universität Halle.
At Market Square 24 stood the so-called Wedding and Weigh House, the first main building of Halle's university, where the student G.E. Handel was also enrolled.
This plaque was made possible through the support of the Citizens' Initiative Rathausseite, Halloren Chocolate Factory, Kathi, Rainer Thiele GmbH, Rossini, G. Reslan, and the University of Halle.
