German:
Ehemaliges Kaufhaus Lewin, erbaut 1929 auf ursprünglich fünf Grundstücken. Stahlbetonskelettbau mit Werksteinverkleidung und rückwärtigem Verwaltungsturm. Fassadengestaltung in Formen des Neuen Bauens, des Neoklassizismus und des Art deco. Architekt Bruno Föhre. An der Westseite weibliche Plastik, Symbol der Mode. Bildhauer Paul Juckoff-Schkopau.

English Translation:
Former Lewin Department Store, built in 1929 on what had originally been five separate properties. Steel-reinforced concrete frame construction with dressed-stone cladding and a rear administrative tower. The façade combines elements of the New Building (Neues Bauen) movement, Neoclassicism, and Art Deco. Architect: Bruno Föhre. On the west side is a female sculpture symbolizing fashion. Sculptor: Paul Juckoff-Schkopau.
