Inscription.  
German:
Wohn- und Geschäftshaus, erbaut 1890. Aufwendige Neorenaissancefassade und polygonaler Eckerker mit Schweifhaube. Im Inneren repräsentatives Treppenhaus über ovalem Grundriß. Architekt Friedrich Kallmayer. Auf diesem Grundstück stand bis zu seinem Abriß 1889 das Gebäude der Anfang des 17. Jh. erbauten Marienbibliothek.

English Translation:
Residential and commercial building, constructed in 1890. Elaborate Neo-Renaissance façade and a polygonal corner bay crowned by an ogee-shaped roof. Inside is an impressive staircase built on an oval floor plan. Architect: Friedrich Kallmayer. On this site stood, until its demolition in 1889, the building of the Marienbibliothek (St. Mary's Library), which had been constructed at the beginning of the 17th century.
