Inscription.
This monument has been erected to perpetuate the memory of the Second Presbyterian Church of Cranbury which stood on this site for nearly a century and was served by the following Pastors:

Rev. J. W. Blythe 1839 - 1856 • Rev. Thomas D. Hoover 1857 - 1867 • Rev. J. B. H. Janeway 1868 - 1869 • Rev. Joseph S. Van Dyke 1869 - 1897 • Rev. Charles F. Taylor 1897 - 1900 • Rev. Adolos Allen 1900 - 1914 • Rev. Warren Elsing 1915 - 1918 • Rev. Frederick Schweitzer 1919 - 1924 • Rev. W. Wiley Young 1924 - 1929 • Rev. Frank B. Everitt 1929 - 1935

This church was united with the First Presbyterian Congregation during 1935 and it was largely through the untiring efforts of Rev. Frank B. Everitt that the merger was completed.
