1. Cook's Tavern Barn Marker
Many taverns offered livery services and had an adjoining barn to stable horses and store hay, as well as a driveshed for horse-drawn vehicles. This 19th century barn was restored in 1958 using timbers from several original buildings located nearby. The adjacent five bay driveshed was built on site in 1959 from salvaged timbers and restored in 2015.
De nombreuses tavernes offraient des services d'écurie et comptaient une grange adjacente pour abriter les chevaux et stocker le foin, en plus d'une remise pour les voitures hippo- mobiles. Cette grange du XIXe siècle a été restaurée en 1958 au moyen de poutres provenant de plusieurs bâtiments des environs. La remise à voitures à cinq baies près de la grange a été bâtie sur place en 1959 à partir de bois d'oeuvre récu péré, puis restaurée en 2015.
