1. Butter Market House Marker
Inscription. This house has been associated with the butter trade in Cork since it was built by the builder & architect Richard R. Brash in 1864 for the butter merchant Patrick O’Herlihy. In the late 19th century the house became the premises of Dominic Cronin and Sons, one of the city’s largest butter merchants. They continued trading into the 20th century.
