1. Kash D. Amburgy Park Marker
In honor of the many contributions to the community by Kash D. Amburgy (1922-2002), minister, salesman, and home builder. Kash Amburgy became a household name in greater Cincinnati because of television commercials for his "Big Bargain Barn" lumber, furniture and appliance store from the 1960's to 1980's, literally putting South Lebanon on the map. A minister for 60 plus years, Kash recorded 3,500 sermons that were broadcast across the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and South America, and he organized more than 100 trips to the Holy Land with his wife of 52 years, Mary Lou Gilbreth Amburgy. He built more than 350 homes in Warren County between 1950 and 1962.
