Tympanon-Fries des Leipziger Neuen Theaters. Zerstört am 4. Dezember 1943 durch Kriegseinwirkung. Die erhaltenen Teile zeigen den Zug der Ceres, des Bacchus und der Ariadne sowie die Allegorie der Lipsia. Zum 300-jährigen Jubiläum der Leipziger Oper restauriert durch den Bildhauer Markus Gläser mit Fördermitteln des Freistaates Sachsen und privaten Zuwendungen.

English Translation:
Tympanum Frieze from Leipzig's New Theater. Destroyed on December 4, 1943, as a result of wartime damage. The surviving sections depict the procession of Ceres, Bacchus, and Ariadne, as well as the allegorical figure of Lipsia. Restored by the sculptor Markus Gläser for the 300th anniversary of the Leipzig Opera with funding from the Free State of Saxony and private donations.
