Location. 37° 25.455′ N, 76° 53.679′ W. Marker is in Lanexa, Virginia, in New Kent County. It is at the intersection of Pocahontas Trail (U.S. 60) and Liberty Church Road, on the left when traveling east on Pocahontas Trail. Regarding Diascund Bridge. There are two modern bridges over Diascund Creek, both just east of the marker - Route 60, and Stewart's Road. The bridge site referenced in the marker is the Stewart's Road bridge location. The bridge spanned the creek by running the road over the center island.

4. Diascund Bridge Site
This is the first leg of the bridge described (though a modern version of it). The east bank is actually just an island, and there is a second leg of the bridge crossing from the island to the mainland further up Stewart's Road. Note Liberty Church's prominent position on the ridge at left.
