Regarding Augustine House. This two-storey cross-gabled brick house was built around 1860 by carpenter Elias Augustine. It is a variant of the Classical Revival style. Prominent features are the front and side covered porches, decorated with white railings and spindle work that stand out against the red brick. Notable detailed woodwork around the verandah, the verandah posts, and the semielliptical window features.

2. Augustine House
Photo faces north and north-east. Main Street W is out-of-frame right. The marker (concealed) is on the wall by the original front entrance (toward the right, facing road); but blocked by enthusiastic bushes. (I guess they use the side entrance.)
