MDR Cube - MDR Orchestra and Choirs
Inscription.
Since 2001, the Cube has been the rehearsal and recording place for the MDR Sinfonieorchester, MDR Rundfunkchor and MDR Kinderchor. These three ensembles have made media history: as Europe's oldest radio orchestra (since 1923), Germany's largest radio choir (est. 1946), ARD broadcasting corporation only children's choir (est. 1948). The orchestra and the choirs give concerts all over Central Germany, having made a name for themselves with their media presence, new forms of concerts as well as international guest performances.
