1. Santa Fe Depot Marker
Inscription. Designed by C.S. Gilman and M.R. Mohr of Los Angeles in the Pueblo Revival Style, this depot replaced an earlier wood frame Victorian station on the same site. The style became an architectural favorite of the Sante Fe throughout the southwest. The last scheduled passenger train-the Grand Canyon Special from Chicago to Los Angeles-departed the station May 15, 1968.
