1. F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet Marker

Inscription.
At E1's rollout ceremony on Sept 19, 1995, ADM Jeremy Bonds, Chief of Naval Operations, dubbed the F/A-18E/F the "Super Hornet."

LT Frank "Spanky" Morley was the first pilot to land a Super Hornet aboard a USN aircraft carrier. He flew F/A-18 F1 (the first 2-seater) to the USS John C. Stennis on Jan 18, 1997.

The US. Navy Blue Angels have flown the F/A -18 E/F since 2020.

The F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet had a starring role in the 2022 blockbuster movie "Top Gun Maverick."
