1. The Roosevelt Building Marker
Inscription. This Italianate commercial building was designed by the Los Angeles firm of Burnham & Bliesner, architects of the Riverside County courthouse. Its original owner, E.R. Skelley, was a principal, until 1895, in the statewide fruit-packing and shipping firm of Griffin and Skelley. The building was named for president Theodore Roosevelt who had visited Riverside in 1903.
