1. Wickham Market Station Marker

Inscription. Built by the East Suffolk Railway to a design by Francis Thompson, the station was opened on 1st June 1859. The company amalgamated with the Great Eastern Railway in 1862.

The station once served the junction for the branch to Framlingham, closed to passengers in 1952.

The building was restored in 2017, when the platform canopy, with Great Eastern Railway ‘Japanese’ detailing, was reinstated.
