1. Sacred to the Memory Marker
Inscription. Sacred to the memory of the Revolutionaries of 1776 who, at great personal risk, and with aspirations to liberate the thirteen colonies of British North America, endured the terrible strife of a calamitous war, and forever consecrated the democratic experiment by their deeds in the forging of the United States of America.

This monument is dedicated with renewed fidelity to the Spirit of 1776 by the Citizens of Greene County, New York in the year 2026, being the 250th year of our independence.
