Inscription.
Built of native limestone and timber by Gen. Timothy S. Hopkins, first Supervisor of the Town of Amherst. Dedicated during the 175th anniversary of the founding of the Village of Williamsville.
 
Erected 1975 by The Town of Amherst Bicentennial Committee.
