Walter Franklin Landrith served as Grapevine's Cotton Belt Railroad Section Foreman during the years of 1918 to 1925. While living in this house, his wife Maude Scribner Landrith, gave birth here to two children. They were Mildred Landrith - born in 1918, and Naomi Ruth Landrith Martin - born in 1919. He died on October 12, 1925, and is buried in the Grapevine Cemetery. At the time of his death he was survived by three sons and four daughters.
