1. Cree-Criddle House Marker
Inscription.
This residence is an excellent example of a Craftsman Bungalow and is an important contributor to the Mount Rubidoux Historic District. It has been home to several prominent Rriverside residents. The most notable are Raymond Cree and Eugene B. Criddle. Mr. Cree, the original owner, served as a County Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Criddle was vice president of the Southern Sierras Power company and from 1933 to 1937 served as Mayor of Riverside.
