This memorial was erected by their surviving comrades to the memory of 17 officers and 160 N.C.O.’s and men of the 4th Battalion Leinster Regiment (Royal Queens County Regiment) who gave their lives in the Great War., “Come from the four winds O breath and breathe upon these slain that they may live.” , Ezekiel.
