1. Battle of Whitehall Marker
Inscription. On December 15-16, 1862, on a raid at Whitehall, Union troops led by Gen. J.G. Foster damaged the Confederate Ram "Neuse."
 
Erected 1970 by State Department of Archives and History. (Marker Number F-44.)
