Inscription. The Tomahawk cruise missile provides the navy with an accurate and effective offensive power projection capability for both land strikes and war at sea. Launched from surface ships or submarines there are four variants of Tomahawk cruise missiles; three for land-attack and one for anti ship. Similar in appearance, but different in capabilities. The Tomahawk warhead may either be nuclear, conventional, or conventional bomblets. The guidance and target acquisition systems make them one of the most accurate weapons in the world today.
