1900's Outhouse Reconstruction
What lies before you is a scale reconstruction of the 1900's outhouse that used to be on this property. At that time an outhouse was a necessity because the Boyds Negro School never had running water or plumbing. In fact, water had to be carried by students from a nearby creek.
