Terrell in Kaufman County, Texas — The American South (West South Central)
Prisoners of War Missing in Action Flag Pole
In 1960, this flag pole was erected at the U.S. Post Office, located at 200 N. Frances St., Terrell, TX. This flag pole flew the flag of our country for 40 years until it was retired on February 20, 2010. The building was purchased by American National Bank, and the flag pole was donated to the Memorial Park in honor of our fallen servicemen and women. Nucor refurbished the flag pole, and today it flies the Prisoner of WarMissing in Action (POW/MIA) flag.
