Site Prior to 1925—
709–715 Elm Street consisted of four two-story commercial buildings.

Records indicate an early mix of machinery companies, cotton brokers, commercial agents, and attorneys, gradually changing to small clothing and general merchandise establishments about the time of World War I.

1979—Austin Alley shops, offices, and public parking
