Dieses Haus war von 1926 bis 1932 Residenz des Deutschen Anwaltvereins (DAV). Der Leipziger Rechtsanwalt MARTIN DRUCKER (1869-1947) war seit 1924 Präsident des DAV. Wegen der Sitzverlegung nach Berlin lehnte er eine Wiederwahl ab und wurde daraufhin zu seinem Ehrenpräsidenten ernannt.
This building served as the headquarters of the German Bar Association (DAV) from 1926 to 1932. The Leipzig attorney Martin Drucker (1869–1947) served as president of the German Bar Association beginning in 1924. When the association's headquarters were moved to Berlin, he declined to stand for re-election. In recognition of his service, he was subsequently named its Honorary President.
