1. The Green Bridge Marker

Inscription. The Kinburn Line Bridge, known locally as the Green Bridge, was manufactured by the Central Bridge Company Ltd., based in Trenton Ontario. The bridge was installed at the site in 1947 to replace the previous crossing that was swept away in a flood.

The Green Bridge was a riveted, six panel steel pony truss with original gas pipe railings that spanned the Bayfield river at Front Road and Kinburn Line. It was replaced in 2021 with the current crossing.
