Inscription. Frank Mosco (1920-1982) As founder of the Two Bridges Neighborhood Council, a Chairman of Community Planning Board 3, and a cherished leader, Frank relentlessly advocated for anti-poverty programs, affordable housing, and equitable access to quality education - all while also managing local sports teams that transcended ethnic boundaries. Above all, Frank worked to preserve and promote the unique identity of the diverse community he loved so much.
Corky Lee (1947-2021) A visionary activist known as the "undisputed unofficial Asian American Photographer Laureate," Corky dedicated more than five decades to documenting the struggles and triumphs of Asian American communities across the United States. Through his advocacy and by capturing over 800,000 photographic images, he shaped a more inclusive vision of history-one where Asian Americans are forever seen, understood, and remembered. In recognition of these remarkable advocates, this street is dedicated as a symbol of unity, bridging the Italian American and Chinese American communities.
